So, what is a blog then?
I googled it: “A blog (a shortened version of ‘weblog’) is an online journal or website displaying information in reverse order, with the latest posts appearing first at the top. It is a platform where a writer or a group of writers share their views on an individual subject”
I reckon I can do that … it’s not exactly the North Face of the Eiger is it? I’ll try to keep it light and not get all pressured, or precious, or overly perfectionistic, I won’t be aiming to say anything life changing or profound at every post. I’m going to try to practice what I preach: good enough really is good enough. So please don’t bother to comment on grammatical errors or academic rigor – I really don’t care too much about that.
However, I will take this earliest opportunity to credit the rest of the ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Training) community – I’ll be drawing heavily on their work, and have been doing so for such a long time that I can’t remember who said what first, but they will know.
I’ll explain ACT in a later post …
